She is known for creating safe, grounded spaces where people can question, heal, rediscover their voice, and reconnect with their own spiritual wisdom without judgment or pressure to “have it all together.”
As a certified Spiritual Director, Denise is passionate about nurturing spiritual growth through discovery, creativity, and deep listening. Her work centers on honoring the sacred wisdom already within each person and walking alongside them as they navigate transition, healing, and becoming. She believes every person—regardless of religious background, belief system, or past spiritual experience—is on a meaningful journey of unfolding and transformation.
Through spiritual direction, retreats, workshops, and SoulCollage® facilitation, Denise offers spaces for reflection, rest, creativity, and honest conversation. Her approach blends depth with accessibility, sacred listening with real talk, and compassion with just enough sass to tell the truth with love.
Denise also serves as a Wedding and Celebration of Life Officiant, creating meaningful, customized ceremonies that honor each person’s love story or life story—whether simple or elaborate, traditional or non-traditional, sacred or secular.
Her background includes work as a Registered Nurse (RN), a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Iliff School of Theology, ordination in the Presbyterian Church (USA), hospice chaplaincy, and certification as a SoulCollage® facilitator. She is also a seasoned speaker for retreats, workshops, and conferences.
Denise is married to her wonderful husband, a proud mother of three, and grandmother of two. When she’s not holding sacred space for others, she can be found outdoors, reading, cooking, hiking, or traveling—and still occasionally reminding people that grace and truth don’t have to be boring.
